Mikey Bell is a Welsh-speaking, Cardiff-based author and brand marketing manager.

His debut food memoir, How an Egg Changed My Life, published by Calon Books, is available now.
How an Egg Changed My Life is a food memoir that tracks the story of finding identity and joy and follows Mikey through 35 years, 13 recipes, and 4 countries, including an existential trip to Italy to cook, explore, and redefine the meaning of modern fulfilment.
It featured on 2026 must-read and best new book lists and reached number 1 for new releases on Amazon for British food books.

Mikey lives in Cardiff with his partner and their two French Bulldogs, Waffle and Rico. He enjoys fried chicken, charity shops, a never-ending stack of TBR books, and Dolly Parton.
